Data Controller

The Data Controller for personal data is the CNR – National Research Council, with its legal headquarters in Rome, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, 00185 Rome, Italy. Purpose and Data Processing

The processing of personal data carried out through www.ibpm.cnr.it pertains exclusively to navigation data normally received by the HTTP service (such as IP address, operating system, and other data typically transmitted from the client to the server via the HTTP protocol). These data are retained for one year, then anonymized and stored indefinitely solely for statistical and security purposes.

The data are processed by IBPM in the execution of its tasks of public interest or otherwise connected to the exercise of its public authority, including purposes of scientific research, statistical analysis, education, and administration, in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR. The processing is carried out to provide and improve the web services offered. Such data are processed by trained internal staff in a lawful, fair, relevant manner and limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing, in compliance with the principles set out in Article 5 of EU Regulation 2016/679. The data are retained solely for any needs related to the investigation of crimes by judicial authorities. Specific security measures are implemented to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access.

Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects have the right to request from the Data Controller access to their data, as well as the rectification or erasure of such data, or the restriction of their processing, or to object to the processing as provided for by Articles 15 and following of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Data subjects have the right to submit their request to the Data Controller. Requests should be addressed to: segreteria.ibpm@cnr.it.

Data subjects who believe that the processing of their personal data through this website violates the provisions of the Regulation have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, as provided for by Article 77 of the Regulation, or to seek judicial remedies (Article 79 of the Regulation).
